How long will a driver wait?
Drivers will wait up to 90 minutes, longer waiting times are possible but subject to additional charge.
Driver Recruitment
All our drivers for this service are volunteers, using their own vehicle for which they are paid an expense rate of 40p per mile.
We are constantly in need of Volunteer Drivers to add to our team, for this highly valued and much needed community work. If you could spare just a few hours a week helping others then please call to arrange an informal chat.
How much does it cost?
There is no annual membership required to use this service.
Journeys are calculated from the drivers home, in order to cover our volunteers expenses. There is a minimum charge of £2.80.
There is no need to pay the driver directly, all journeys will be invoiced the following month.
